Personally, I don't like the place, however, our elderly neighbors always get my husband and I a gift certificate from there for Christmas because we deliver groceries to them a good bit when we go out. We've told them several times we don't want anything for doing it but they insist! What I noticed is when we go there, and we've been there for lunch and supper, is that there are a lot of elderly people there. For some reason elderly people like that place and it's always busy when we go there as well. If it weren't for the gift certificate, my husband and I wouldn't go there at all. I really don't care much for the food. But hey, to each their own!

I suggest donating the Gift Certificate to a family less fortunate than yourself.  They would truly enjoy it.  It's always nice to give during that time of year.  Especially since you do not like the place, why subject yourself to a meal you don't care for?  Maybe you consider this option next year.

Sorry, but we give much more to the less fortunate than the amount of the gift certificate and we do this all year not just around the holiday season, however, I will see that you get it next year!

I can only please one person a day. Today isn't your day. Tomorrow doesn't look good either!

^^How nice, why, thank you very much.  And more importantly, a thank you to your kind, sweet neighbors.  Please let them know I will truly enjoy it.

I've been so unhappy with most resturant food around Johnstown. I still enjoy Turilla's in Jennerstown, the Tavern in State College and Luigi's in Clymer and Rey Azteca on Scalp. Maybe I"m just getting old  and cranky? I did find a great place in Gallitzin I forgot to mention called The Wine Cellar, this place is great and unique.
