No one here should dispute the fact that Weiner is very well informed and has well thought out opinions. No matter HOW FAR OUT IN LEFT FIELD THEY ARE.  The disdain she show's for Obama is out in left field- er- shall we say FAR RIGHT FIELD? Weiners delusion and confusion has led her to WRONG-HEADED conclusions- via exclusions. When she talks about Obama, she, in a POLLYANNA sort of way, conveniently excludes the history altering events that have occured over the past 20 years in the world. 9/11 and the war on terror have altered our history forever. The Patriot act effectively- not read by any congressman before it was passed- has compromised our privacy, liberty, and freedom. To say nothing about modern technology. Since the Reagan years, more corrupt than any in world history, HEY, THEY WAGED A SECRET WAR AND FINANCED IT WITH DRUG MONEY - WELL, WHOSE DRUGS WERE THEY SELLIN? Anyway, Daddy Bush did a great job handling the aftermath and the economy. Then Clinton came along and rode the internet bubble till it popped in 2000. Clintons years were so fraught with scandal, 9/11 saved his legacy by putting the focus on patriotism and flag waving. Then Bush got 9/11 dropped on him along with the war on terror, katrina, massive spending and bail outs of corrupt wall street bankers. When Bush left, we were in a tail spin. Obama inherited a historic tail spin and immediately spent another trillion bucks in bail out money. A MOVE TOWARD SOCIALISM IS REALLY JUST ANOTHER BAIL OUT FOR THE POOREST AMONG US. WE'RE BLEEDING "TRILLIONS" AND THE WORLD IS MAD AT US FOR TERRIBLE MIS-STEPS IN THE LAST 15 YEARS OR SO. Obama tried to bail out the poor common folks, homeowners and renters alike. Remember the rebates? Another trillion. Somehow, the war on terror has become a war of religion now.
That puts the ball in God's hands. Who will he defend, and who will emerge victorious? This is the "real" issue.
I say this because Christians want us to believe that muslims get down on their knees and their faces 5 times a day and worship the enemy of The Most High God. It is absurd to believe that. Mohammad freely and openly worshipped the God of Israel, JEHOVAH. The "issue" is Jesus. Muslims love Jesus and respect the saying of his name. "peace be upon him". Since ancient history, white gentiles have been trampling underfoot the land of the children of Abraham and killing them and persecuting them, and destroying their temples and mosques. In the name of God, Jesus, Oil, and terror. The christians are led by charlatain decievers who call themselves televangelists. Muslims are led by an absolute reliance on God's will. This brings the Holy Spirit into play. The charlatain decievers claim to have miraculous power of the Holy Spirit as "proof" God is in their corner. Prosperity and wealth are also supposed to be Godly indicators. But, without middle east oil, where are we. Without the war on terror , where are we? Christians have come to the conclusion that Islam is evil and worships the devil. No clear headed person would ever worship the enemy of the creator. All seek to worship the most high God and creator. Jesus came for the "lost sheep of Israel"- the arab sons of Abraham. The Holy Spirit is not a decieving miracle worker. As the war of religion heats up, Christians will buckle under the truth. THE ONES WHO SCREAM THE NAME OF JESUS THE LOUDEST AREN'T GUARANTEED ANYTHING BUT A SORE THROAT. Christians even have resorted to saying Jesus "is" the most high God. Jesus always made it a point to worship the Father and him only. The Most High God knows things that Jesus doesn't even know. The day and the hour. Modern christianity is satanic, you can't worship God and mammon. America worships the God of forces, which is a bad thing. The most well armed nation in world history is pushing itself to desperate means- rule by force. The enemy of God and man. The loss of free will and freedom, to enslavement to the powers that be. Watched, monitored, PM'd on, whispers, conspiracy, imprisoned, dependent on government, in atrocious debt, fixed elections, media mind control, religiously decieved, delusional, propagandized, IN A PERPETUAL STATE OF DENIAL. Obama has to fix the economy, finish the war on terror, deal with the emerging war of religion as the christians push a war on Islam, much like the crusades of old, which led to the rise of Mohammad, repair our infrastructure, and do it while taking heat for the previous regimes. We the people are constantly being lied to by religious, political and media people for the sake of public opinion. Major stories and catastrophes become old news in a short time as new major events unfold. The only important discussions happen when the media feels it should be a major discussion. Cameras are everywhere, everybody is becoming a busybody and gossiping about their neighbor. I's "us" against us, us against them [whoever that is]. Us against the world. The world doesn't think too highly of us anymore. True, we live in a great land, but who made the land, who gave and took away our bill of rights, who calls the shots? Is it Obama, or is it the CONGRESS?  america will be great until the day and the hour it collapses. Which isn't too far away. A great first step towards saving our republic is easy, CLEAN SWEEP CONGRESS. Since after WW2, congress has been the problem. If you want to hold today against Obama, then at least be JUST and hold history against congress. Christians are financing these next elections. Expect a war on Islam. A real war. Christians believe that God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit are in their corner. We might be broke as a nation, but we got weapons. Christians use false evidence, fake miracles, lying words of knowledge, and money as tools to travel great distances to "proselytize and make people twice the children of the devil as they already are". JESUS' WORDS, NOT MINE. Jesus even warned his disciples that the only unforgivable sin is to ascribe deception and fake miracles to the Holy Spirit. This is what televangelists and their followers do. They tried to "steal" the faith and make it their own purely because thay saw real power and thought if they killed the early believers and stole the scriptures, they could incorporate it into thier pagan religions and get away with it. To this day they believe that they are true heirs with Christ. But consider that they killed Jesus, destroyed the temple, murdered the early believers who were Jewish and Arab, stole and edited the scriptures, raided repeatedly the Holy Land which is between the nile and euphrates, and are there even now, incorporated pagan "heathen" traditions into christianity, and sexually molest young boys, allow the disregard for the law of moses and God in our culture, be the true heirs with Christ? Muslims still follow the law of Moses and will punish violations of Gods law. Christians "say" we are free from the law. But they are the harsh judges in our world. If we ever return to christian puritanism, look out. Islam would be a picnic. They see nothing wrong with dropping a bomb on a muslim home or mosque, but if you don't believe as they believe, you are a devil. Christianity itself is even the most divided of religions because everybody like to play judge and jury. they beat each other over the head with their man made bibles day and night. Bad timing for the collapse of our economy would be a collapse that happens as a religious fued or war is breaking out. I truly expect both to happen rather quickly in America. Soon. Blame Obama, hes a muslim, er, christian, er black, er half white, er democratic, er socialist, american, er a non-citizen born in africa, er the scapegoat, er ................hey, if somebody else had an answer, we'd be hearing from them.  One answer would be to move the christians out of the Holy Land, "Jesus" said "the Holy City would be "trampled underfoot" by the white gentiles until the time of the gentiles is fulfilled". They use Jesus to cause division between jews and arab muslims. Enough already. But what about the oil, er terror? WHAT WILL HAPPEN TO AMERICA?! Well, blame Obama for anything that happens. AND HIDE BEHIND JESUS- THATS WHERE JESUS TOLD THE DEVIL TO GO. HE LIKES IT THERE. FOR NOW.BUT HE'S ALL TANGLED UP IN HIS STRINGS.

You are entitled to use the free speech our Constitution gives you and my guess is there are many on here that may just agree with you.  If I worried about wttling myself away to suit other people then well I would not have much left for myself would I?  I have thought al along Obama is Christian, misguided maybe but christian.  In the end it is his choice to make and he is given the freedom to make it.

I think Red meant I was to apply there, I think the kids would like me better anyways.Are you not able to grasp the crux or gist of my prose? I think my writing should be carefully looked at and reflected upon because you never know when it's your turn to suffer catastrophe or disaster. We have problems that America doesn't even talk about, let alone deal with. We are going to have about a million iraq war vets with PTSD, and they are coming home. How will they deal with losing the freedom they fought for.You don't think we had hundreds of thousands of Vietnam Vets that returned the exact same way?
Already they kill themselves more than guys are dying in the war. 5 vets a day kill themselves,some after they kill their family. 10's of thousands with war wounds and lost limbs will need jobs. We haven't even fought a real military yet. What if we have to fight china and russia at the sametime. With mexico and venezuela and others on "their" side. A war on Islam will spark a race war here. Economically, politicially, and socially we are in grave danger.You prattle on about things that are maybes.  Yes Vets kill themselves, so do civilians.  Some people see and do things that they can't let go of.  It happens in the military and in the civilian world.  Al Quadia is a decent military, we trained them.  They use our own weapons against us, we bought those weapons for them when they fought Russian.  As for the other nations, none will attack us, there is no need this nation is already set to collapse in another few years.  Once they grow tired of us they will just call our debt due and all we will have is the land we stand on to pay with.  A shot will not have to be fired unless they come here and try to control the people close up.  If they plan it right that too may end up being easier than thought.

So J-man woke up on the wrong side of the bed yesterday and cracked his noggin on the wall.
Although he did predict correctly that I would not be back on until today, so I guess he gets one point for being observant of when I am on here.  Does that classify him as a stalker, or hater?

I have a total of 22 PMs on this site and most are just causal conversation about peppers, go figure that.

He may have overstated the numbers, but it's still a worthy subject.

The 5 suicides a day is actually quite understated. According to the Army Times, the actual number is 18 a day. That's 540 per month.

to be fair we should also find the stats on the Vietnam Vets.  I think the two wars are a fair comparison.

I don't see what difference it would make to find stats on Vietnam veterans.

The point isn't really isn't about how many more people are affected, but what we should be doing about it. Hopefully, this country can offer more support to our recent veterans than they have done in the past.

I think we already do.  The person that is affected has to want to seek treatment as well.  This I think is one of the hardest barriers to cross.  You have a vet of war, having to admit that he needs help, when for the past several years he was among people who were all just like him so they knew.  To shove them back into their home life with no easing out is what I think can do the most damage to a soldier.  JMO

The military has many avenues available for active duty and vets to seek help. The problem is that the military members have trained people to be both self-sufficient and part of a team. The ones that need help do not seek it because they fear showing a sign of weakness. This is very hard to overcome.

And, as with any problem one can not reach a solution until one actually sees the problem and pursues a solution.

I wonder what the suicide rate would be in our civilian population if people had to experience all that the military experiences.
