10 key reasons why the Obama presidency is in meltdown
http://blogs.telegraph.co.uk/news/nilegardiner/100050412/the-stunning-decline-of-barack-obama-10-key-reasons-why-the-obama-presidency-is-in-meltdown/
1. The Obama presidency is out of touch with the American people. #1 can you imagine that.
Maybe this belongs in the B.I.O.B. thread.
Growing disillusionment with the Obama administration’s handling of the economy as well as health care and immigration has gone hand in hand with mounting unhappiness with the President’s aloof and imperial style of leadership, and a growing perception that he is out of touch with ordinary Americans, especially at a time of significant economic pain. Barack Obama’s striking absence of natural leadership ability (and blatant lack of experience) has played a big part in undermining his credibility with the US public, with his lacklustre handling of the Gulf oil spill coming under particularly intense fire.
This fellow put his thinking cap on before he wrote this, that or he actually talked to American's. Something our Pres doesn't even do.

well, in retrospect, it seems there was nothing really there in the first place, you know?
You look at his campaign, we are getting pretty much what should have been expected.
So many "moderates" and "mod- conservs" perhaps may have supported him on the "run left, govern center" theory, but that didn't happen, did it?
I guess to his credit, he is true to his ideals, problem is, his ideals are far from mine.

Much to their dismay, his base is discovering that his ideals are far from theirs as well.

Aimeey I honestly think that if there had been a third choice in the 2008 election Obama would not be President at this time. But we hardly ever get a third choice and the years we do it is some wack job that comes from nowhere. Oh wait that was Obama in the last election wasn't it?

I won't categorize as "stunning". You can fool some of the people sometimes. What took so long?

What took so long? No one thought to actually check Obama's record prior to electing him, that is what took so long.
This is why most of our news station, don't do news anymore they just do opinions. I did say most, not all.

....Yeah but no matter what he does, the entire black population of this country will vote to re-elect him. Even if he is doing a lousy job, that would mean nothing to them.

Isn't it true that the Black population predominately votes Democratic? You have to hand it to the Dems, they certainly have sold the lie that the Republicans are not for the "black needs".
