I don't watch a lot of soccer, so when I tuned the other day, I thought there was something wrong with the channel. It just seemed like a steady annoying hum. |

Exactly the reason I cannot stand soccer. The horns aren't so bad but the ties are boring. Pool play always has a lot of ties. The US has to win at least one game but also hope that they get a better goal differential than Slovenia if they tie in the points standings. The other big thing about soccer is that they will go to the penalty kicks to determine a World Cup winner and not play until a goal is scored. That is why I like the way Stanley Cup playoffs go. I would hate to see the game decided in the shootout. |

I watched a bit. Were down 2-0 and looked as if we had goal three, but it was waived off by an infraction that no one but the ref saw.

The USA got ripped off. It was very clear theat the Slovenia players were mugging the US players during that play.......they need to win their next game.
