I'd like to see the Steelers sign Owens for one or two years. Tomlin would be able to handle him and the Steelers could get him cheap.

I'd like to see T.O. forced into retirement because his services are no longer wanted in the NFL.

Without researching. I see Randle-El and Hines Ward sharing the slot position. But I don't recall who is going to play wideout for the Steelers since Santonio Holmes is gone. And I have no idea who the other wide-out is going to be.
Does anyone here know who is going to play the two wideout positions [without lookin it up]. That tells me the Steelers could use some wideout help.

I wouldn't think that Wallace by himself is an answer for the steelers wide-out woes.
39 yr. old Galloway doesn't figure to be much help.
I think Fast Willie will have a great year for the skins.
Mewelde Moore is a decent backup for Mendenhall, and they have Cary Davis as well. But Lendell White would be a good pickup, just because he couldn't beat out the best runing back in the league doesn't mean he can't produce.
Bottom line is that the steelers don't have a WR as good as T.O.
Randle-El and Hines Ward are good in the slot, but who are the two guys that are gonna play wide and get deep? Right now the steelers have no proven wide outs. Big problem.

^^T.O is not the answer.....plus the Steelers would never sign a character like him...get over it....i don't think the Steelers would sign white either, due to his history....the Seahawks sure dropped his a$$ fast.......Fast willie's best days are behind him, plus he's injury prone......

Santonio Holmes would look good on the Steelers.

Mike Wallace is fast but can he beat double coverage, which he'll see a lot of. Who is the other wideout? Sweed was placed on IR and will miss the 2010 season. Randle-El isn't a deep threat wideout, he thrives in the slot. Wallace's hands are unproven as well.
Without a great running game the steelers will struggle when they have to throw the ball.
I expect to hear alot of "THE STEELERS CAN'T RUN THE BALL, THEY CAN'T THROW THE BALL AND THEY CAN'T SCORE" this year.
T O may be outspoken and hot headed, but he could be a short term solution that can be had for a good price.
