Got home today to find that they have the oil leak in the closed status and it seems to be working. This is wonderful now are they going to open it again after the testing is done?

Very good, this morning I heard the pressure was at 6,700 PSI. They want 6,000 or better and for that to hold and not drop. So far so good. This would be a great day if they stopped that leak.

Was he the one that ran the robot that installed the new cap? Was he the one that invented it? I do know he was the one that delayed the valves being shut by 24 hours. Should we congradulate him?

Now I know I will get some crap for this, but the 11 who died in the explosion are a minor player in the game where the entire gulf coast could never function as designed again.

I won't give you a hard time. I'm on vacation right now and am spending it in Pensacola FL. I have spent several days enjoying the beautiful atmosphere here and talking to old friends who feel very bad for those who passed away but feel terrible for how things are shaking out about the moratorium. Those who I have talked to have nothing great to say about BP, except the job opportunities that are provided. Every community has a network that has vital sources for revenue (think Bethelehem Steel) that keep everything else profitable. In the Gulf when both the oil platforms and tourism are impacted, revenue is impacted which effects other employment and it all snowballs from there.

New Leak Found on Gulf Coast http://liveshots.blogs.foxnews.com/2010/07/27/new-leak-found-on-gulf-coast/There is video on the page of the oil shooting up into the air. There are marshes not far from this well head, I would guess by the video I saw on the Fox news show this morning that they are 100-200 yards away. You could see the black flim building up on the grass in the video.
