According to her official biography on the EPA website, "Jackson lists among her priorities reducing greenhouse gas emissions, improving air quality, managing chemical risks, cleaning up hazardous waste sites, and protecting America’s water."
“When the oil slick first spread, we learned the Interior Department’s chief of staff was rafting down the Grand Canyon, and now that it’s reached our shores, the president is in California raising money for Barbara Boxer, while the head of the EPA makes plans to raise more campaign cash in New York City," said Brian Walsh, a spokesman for the National Republican Senatorial Committee

So why on eaarth, wiener, haven't YOU volunteered to run the country? You seem to know the answer to every problem we're facing. How broad are your superpowers, by the way? What exactly, O Great Wiener, should we do to stop the oil flow? Save us, O Hallowed Wiener, from our miserable, poor existence! Show us the light! Restore our government! Free the peoples! Feed the children! Save the whales! Kiss babies! Pet puppies!
Because Daff only the dumb actually want a political office and I am not that dumb. Are you?
I have stated before that I don't have all the answers. But in no way would a company, any company be permitted to dig or drill for anything under water until they proved to the AMERICAN PEOPLE that our shore lines would have been safe from what is going on now. When did the first well go ontop the water, that would be the first to blame. Good intentions have ruined many a great thing. BP had good intentions and now the southren shores of our nation will pay dearly.
Obama is quoted as stated "Plug up the damn hole." Gee doesn't that show great concern for our shore lines. At least we could rebuild from Katrina, seeing how no one is cleaning anything up at any decent rate right now it may be years before those people can get back to their normal lives. He takes his second trip down there today, his second in nearly what 40+ days now that thing has been gushing? Yes that is concern, FEMA promised that it would not hit the shore line, yet we are in day 5 of oil in the marshes and no one is cleaning anything, while the oil gets pushed deeper into the Mississippi Delta. I haven't even seen the green freaks crying on this one is that because the actually see that our government is useless to the people? Or are they afraid they might fail so why even try?

It does seem like the perfect opportunity to put some unemployed to work and charge their wages to BP.

BP is protected by a federal set cap on the damages they have to pay to anyone involved. We the people will be picking up the tab for this one.
One of my peeves on this is it is a foreign company that has done this, look at some of the interviews BP officials have given on the BBC and other foreign news channels. They could give a f_uck about what they have just done to this nation. In the back of their heads they are thinking "Good those arrogant snobs deserve this."
They ignored alarms for
15 hours
telling them there was a
intense pressure build up
, now you still think a foreign company cares about our nation like a homegrown company would?
