I'd classify it as so so to ho hum. You're not missing anything.
Yeah a buddy suggested we try the cheesesteak sandwich there, so we did. It was edible but nothing to write home about. We are still in search of the equal to the old Brownies cheesesteak. Back in the day and toward the end, I used to risk my life dodging bullets in the parking lot to return home with the goods...!

A friend was approached for his pizza one time outside the take-out window of Brownies......... It went something like this...... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zSRNCAyHI9I

Brownie had possibly one of the best pies ever. That crust was to die for.

And there was something about the pepperoni that made it awesome.

I think Brownie himself was on the receiving end of one too many of those. Life would be so much better if we could just shoot criminals instead of putting them back among us as fast as possible.

How is the old Stoneycreek doing? Do they have a good menu or is it mainly a drinking joint.

thanks, I was there one time, Christmas Eve, i think. Late night, walked in, ran into a few friends, had a few shots and a few beers, and then my nephew picked me up. I did not get past the entrance end of the bar. That was all i saw of the joint. Will have to check it out next time i'm in town.

If a very good friend of yours were visiting J-town, where would you suggest he go for a nice evening out with his wife?

^^I always enjoyed Rizzo's for dinner.....i have not been there in about 6 years, though. I heard there is a place near there that has entertainment. Is it the Windber Hotel? Not sure.....just going by what I've heard by some family and friends that had been there in the past.

Made my first stop at Tulunes last night. Very friendly staff. I tried a variety of beers and food. I liked everything reasonable well. I don't think it's a place that needs to be known for good food, and it wasn't bad. The beer experience is GREAT!!!!!
