I've been switching back and forth.

Any info given on how much longer of a delay?

Juust came back from a windy walk and it looks as if they are going back onto the track.

As I said...this could be a break out for JR.  He seems to do better at restricter plate races...

That said, one race doesn't make a season.

I'm not disagreeing with you, I'm not a Jr. fan. I think he lost his will four years back, he is not racing to his potential!

16th to 2nd in 2 laps isn't bad.

But then he just finished where he started.  Smiley

Ditto molmarsa, hell I was never a fan of #3 and I'm not a JR fan either. Can't deny #3 knew how to drive and win in a race car.

But Nascar has tooooooo many rules and nono's! Let racing be just that, racing. Get to the end first no matter how you get there!

I just want to know why it took so long to repair the track? When drivers fall asleep waiting.. have to question the safety of the race..
Of course, I wish Stewart would have done better .. but can't judge anyone given it is the first race. Earnhardt was a surprise.... where the heck was Martin, I wanted to see him do well!

That charge was eerily reminiscent of his dad's final win at Talledega in 2000.  Went from 18th to 1st in 2 laps IIRC.

It's bobsled season

Cue the Geoff Bodine comment now!

Daytona 500 winner and US Bobsled team sled designer Geoff Bodine has to be wondering what excuses some of these drivers will come up with now.
