If you want to get into in, there was a kid named Austin Scott that was accused of a similiar thing at Penn State.  He was sent packing before any decision was made on is guilt.  Turned out to be innocent.  Probably cost him millions in the pros.

The Rock says that Parkland H.S. phenom Austin Scott is probably the biggest bust in PSU recruiting history so JoePA just wanted to rid himself of that waste of talent the first chance he got. BTW, Scott had zero chance of ever playing in the NFL anyhow.

PSU will be happy that this Pittsburgh Jerky company has more credibility than the Steelers organization.

PITTSBURGH -- A Pittsburgh company that markets food products endorsed by local sports stars has ended its beef jerky sponsorship deal with Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger.

You're taking a lot for granted...........he could have had a 1,500 yard season, and certainly would have been drafted.  Then again, Tony Hunt proved himself the better back in the long run so he may not have played much anyhow.  Hard to say, but the point became moot when they cleaned out his locker.
